Our classes rotate partners often and a designed so you don't need a partner! You can join as a lead or as a follow and you will dance with other class attendees.
We offer 5 regular classes for Zouk Phoenix, with 3 classes on Monday and 2 on Wednesday nights. If you have danced less than 6 months of Zouk, we'd recommend the Foundations 4 week class series on Mondays at 7pm, or the drop-in Cool Combo class at 8:15pm. On Wednesday nights from 7-8pm there is an all levels Zouk Conditioning class at Z Room Gilbert - welcome to anyone! If you have danced Zouk for a year or more, you can audition for our Zouk Plus (Level 1.5) 4 week class series which is also on Monday at 8:15pm. You can ask Elijah or Elena about how to audition via our email contact page or through Zouk Phoenix social media. If you have danced Zouk for 2+ years you can audition for our Level 2 intermediate series which is from 8-10pm on Wednesday night. On Mondays we offer 2 progressive classes which are 4 weeks long - Zouk Foundations & Zouk Plus. These classes start on the 1st Monday of the month and build on the class content for 4 weeks. Its best to join on the 1st week so that you don't miss any content and don't feel like you have to catch up. For that reason we don't allow drop ins to Zouk Foundations or Zouk Plus in the 2nd, 3rd, or 4th week unless you have Zouk experience can can quickly catch up on the class material.
Our beginner classes are perfect for those who have never danced before. We will teach you the basics of dance and help you build a strong foundation for your future in dance. Join us today and let's dance!
